There are so many flower fields in this flower market. For a small fee you can enter and have a bbq buffet lunch after 😍 it’s super worth it and the best thing is, the flowers change according to season! so you can come anytime and see a different variety of flowers 🌷🌹🌺🌻

However, I highly do not recommend him as your photographer because he complains a lot. 🙃

The floor was actually so slippery with moss if I had swung any harder and lost my balance I would just plop in. (And I almost did slip and fall in while walking there and back 😭) . . . Did you know this was taken In jiufen? Many people know it for its old streets but jiufen is also a man elevated seaside village, so we went to the seaside 🤗

Fun fact: the day BEFORE I went, some stalls were warned for blasting their music and shouting loud publicity that it was deemed noise pollution and was almost shut down by authorities 😅 I didn’t contribute to noise pollution 😇 . . . Instagram post 2024694019456983235_241016900 Someone took their wedding photo in this flower field... not us. 🙃 . . . You can’t see it but the ground is slightly wet and muddy to keep the flowers alive. And there’s a clear path through the middle so no one has to kill any flowers 😇

The mountains were draped by low hanging clouds and mist and many shops were closed even during the day 😭 and then it got so cold but there weren’t many public onsens available (only 1 I think and it’s very expensive)... we left really early the next day to our next destination, maybe next time sun moon lake 🤗

Envious of those who live in an area that has all 4 seasons instead of a year round summer here 😂 . . . This is in a secret spot that our local driver brought us to! Would highly recommend him, he’s nice and friendly, gives us history and even extended a little when we went over time! (can ask me for more details if you’re going taichung!)
